Bhowali: Inter-House Cultural Competition was organised at Sainik School Ghorakhal on 20th October 2023. Group Captain Abhinandan Das graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and Mrs Chandna Tandon attended the function as the Guest of honour. The event showcased the remarkable talents of the students, leaving the audience in awe.
The grand event was a celebration of diversity and creativity, featuring a dazzling array of performances including dance, music, drama, and much more. Students from all grades and all houses came together to create a mesmerizing cultural tapestry that wowed the attendees.
The function commenced with lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest and other dignitaries, Mrs Sweta Dangwal, Mrs Chandna Tandon and Dr Sushama Singh. The performances that followed were a testament to the dedication and hard work of both the students and their mentors.
The music and dance performances brought the stage to life with a fusion of classical and contemporary styles, leaving the crowd cheering for more. The drama skits, a mix of humor and thought-provoking themes, left a lasting impact
Singh House lifted the winner trophy. Best Hindi Skit and English Skit trophies were awarded to Singh House and Kesari House respectively. Singh house presented the best Bonus item and the best Group Dance trophy was awarded to Kumaon house. The Chief Guest appreciated the performances of all cadets and shared his valuable experiences
The event concluded with the presentation of the school memento to the Chief Guest by Group Captain VS Dangwal, Principal of the school.
