Bhawali. An inter-house quiz competition senior group was organized at Sainik School Ghorakhal on Saturday. Satyendra Singh Negi, Director and Principal of Lex International School, was the chief guest.
Students of Singh, Shivalik, Kumaon and Kesari senior houses of the school participated in the competition. Houses were selected on the basis of written examination. The competition was held in different phases. In which questions related to subjects like Indian Constitution, World History, Defence, Sports, International Relations, Science etc. were asked. Cadets Sumit Negi, Navneet Bhatt and Lakshya Pratap of Shivalik Sadan secured the first position in the competition. Whereas in the written quiz competition, Cadet Navneet Bhatt got first position, Cadet Tanishk got second position and Cadet Kushagra Gangwar got third position.
All the winners were awarded by the chief guest Satyendra Singh Negi. He urged the cadets to continue fulfilling their moral responsibility towards the society along with education. Also praised the high standards of the quiz competition and its conduct.
School Principal Group Captain Vijay Singh Dangwal honored the chief guest with a memento. The competition was conducted by Vikas Kotnala. During this, Deputy Principal Commander S Nagarajan, Senior Teacher K. N. Joshi etc.
