Local Board of Administration Meeting

Lt Gen Ram Chander Tiwari, UYSM, AVSM, SM, GOC, UB Area and Chairman LBA visited Sainik School Ghorakhal and presided over the LBA meeting on 9th August 2023. On arrival, the Chief Guest was given the Guard of Honor followed by a spectacular band display by cadets.

The meeting was attended by various dignitaries of State Government. The school highlighted various achievements and projected points for the upliftment of the school. All the members contributed in the meaningful discussions and appreciated the efforts of the school administration.

Chairman LBA also took time to address the Academic Staff. He shared his wealth of experiences and urged them to be focused towards achieving Academic Excellence. He emphasized the role of teachers in the holistic development of the cadets.

A special lunch was organized for the Guest and cadets followed by the felicitation ceremony. The Chief Guest was generous to offer cash awards to the cadets for their contribution in bringing laurels to school. During his address to cadets, the Chief Guest shared his experiences and motivated them to join NDA. He emphasized on points like: Self respect, Respecting teachers, Maintaining a strong bond with teachers, Respecting Mother tongue etc.

In addition, he gifted a set of 40 books to the school. The event concluded with the presentation of the school memento to the Chairman LBA by Group Captain VS Dangwal, Principal Sainik School Ghorakhal.
