Lt Gen Zubin A Minwalla, AVSM, YSM, GOC, UB Area and Chairman LBA visited Sainik School Ghorakhal and presided over the LBA meeting on 22 April 2024. On arrival, the Chief Guest was given the Guard of Honor followed by a spectacular band display by cadets.
The meeting commenced after the inauguration of the renovated Physics Lab by LBA Chairman. The meeting was attended by various dignitaries of State Government. The school projected various achievements and presented points for the betterment of the school. The visit was marked by insightful discussions. Chairman, LBA also took time to address and interact with the faculty members, administrative staff and cadets. He shared his wealth of wisdom and urged the cadets to be focused towards their goal. He mentioned that the cadets are provided with the best infrastructure and they should value these resources. He emphasized the role of teachers in the holistic development of the cadets.He commended the school’s commitment to academic excellence, character building and co-curricular activities. The Chairman, LBA lauded the efforts of the school management in fostering an environment conducive to overall development of cadets. A special lunch was also organised for the dignitaries.
The event concluded with the presentation of the school memento to the Chairman, LBA by Group Captain VS Dangwal, Principal Sainik School Ghorakhal.
