As part of Navy Week celebrations, three esteemed Naval Officers delivered an insightful presentation on the role of the Indian Navy. The team included Lt Cdr Arvind Singh, a distinguished officer of the Indian Navy, currently appointed as the Navigating Officer at the Vaghsheer Cell, Lt Cdr Lehar Singal, an accomplished Naval Architecture Officer with extensive expertise in the conceptualization, design, construction and maintenance of ships, submarines and yard crafts and Lt Avinash Semwal, a dynamic and accomplished Naval Pilot whose journey exemplifies excellence and commitment.
The officers were warmly received by Lt Col Prashant Yadav, the Officiating Principal and Cdr S Nagarajan, the Vice Principal. The event, held at Sainik School Ghorakhal, aimed to inspire young minds to join Indian Navy.
The presentation showcased the Navy’s evolving capabilities, its cutting-edge technology and the exciting career it offers. Through engaging visuals, real-life experiences and an interactive session, the officers addressed queries from the cadets, sparking enthusiasm among aspiring candidates.
The event concluded with the presentation of souvenir by the Navy Team to Lt Col Prashant Yadav which was warmly reciprocated.
