Air Vice Marshal Philip Thomas, AVSM,VM Visits Sainik School Ghorakhal Sainik School Ghorakhal had the honor of hosting Air Vice Marshal, Philip Thomas, AVSM,VM on 15th Mar 2025. The esteemed officer was warmly received by the Principal, staff and cadets, marking a momentous occasion for the institution.
During his visit, the Chief Guest inspected the school’s infrastructure and delivered a motivational lecture emphasizing the importance of discipline, leadership and dedication in shaping future officers of the Indian Armed Forces. In his discourse, he delved into various aspects concerning the younger generation such as; addiction to social media, sedentary lifestyle, poor mental health etc. He advised the cadets to engage themselves in creative co-curricular activities like playing outdoor games, reading books, meaningful discussions with peers etc.
The Chief Guest felicitated the cadets for their exceptional accomplishments.
He appreciated the school’s rich legacy and encouraged the cadets to strive for excellence. His inspiring words left a lasting impact on the cadets, reinforcing their commitment to the nation. The visit concluded with the presentation of souvenir to the Chief Guest by the Principal, Gp Capt, VS Dangwal which was warmly reciprocated by the Chief Guest.
