Sainik School Ghorakhal Cadets Embark on Educational Journey to Parliament, Meet Vice President

In a momentous educational excursion, 35 cadets (11 girl cadets and 124 boys) from Sainik School Ghorakhal visited both, the old and the new Parliament buildings in New Delhi. The trip was organised under the leadership and direction of Gp Capt VS Dangwal, the Principal. Accompanied by their mentors, the cadets delved into the historical and contemporary significance of these iconic structures, gaining invaluable insights into the functioning of the nation’s legislative body. The highlight of their visit was an exclusive meeting with the esteemed Vice President of India, Shri Jagdeep Dhankar, where the cadets had the honor of engaging in a dialogue with hon’ble Vice President. The interaction provided them with a rare opportunity to glean wisdom from one of the most prominent personalities of the country, fostering a deeper understanding of civic responsibility and public service. The Vice President who is an alumnus of Sainik School Chittorgarh, was highly impressed to see the young vibrant cadets of Sainik School Ghorakhal. He elaborated on the rich culture of Sainik Schools and shared his wealth of wisdom with cadets. This educational odyssey not only broadened the horizons of the Sainik School Ghorakhal cadets but also instilled in them a profound sense of duty towards their nation. As they return to their alma mater, enriched by their experiences, these young minds are poised to become the future guardians of India’s democracy and heritage.
