Today Teacher’s Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Sainik School.
The program was started by the Principal of the school, Group Captain Vijay Singh Dangwal, by offering flowers on the photo of Honorable Shri Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan ji. Also a special morning meeting was organized by the students of the school.
In the afternoon a very exciting friendly cricket match was played between students and teachers.
A captivating cultural program was presented by the students in the evening. In which school principal Vijay Singh Dangwal, while addressing the teachers, said that being a teacher is not a job but a responsibility, which every teacher should fulfill honestly. He told the students that if they want a Guru like Krishna, then you too will have to prove yourself by becoming a disciple like Arjun. Student and teacher is incomplete without each other.
Mrs. Shweta Dangwal, Dr. Sushma Singh and Archana Nagarajan were among the special guests of the program. On this occasion, class 12 students presented gifts to all the teachers. In the program, a special dinner was jointly arranged for the students and teachers. In the program, Administrative Officer Lieutenant Colonel Prashant Yadav, Vice Principal Commander S. Nagarajan, Senior Teacher Mr. K. N. Joshi and all the teachers and administrative staff were present.
