Inter -House NCC Drill Competition Held at Sainik School Ghorakhal

The cadets of Sainik School Ghorakhal showcased exceptional discipline and coordination during the Inter-House NCC Drill Competition held on November 26, 2024 in the campus. Group Captain Vijay Singh Dangwal, the Principal of Sainik School Ghorakhal, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The event organized under the administration and leadership of Lt Col. Prashant Yadav, the Administrative Officer and Cdr S Nagarajan, the Vice Principal and OC Independent Company, NCC, Sainik School Ghorakhal, aimed to inculcate leadership, teamwork and precision among the young cadets.

The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from all houses, Junior as well as Senior, with cadets demonstrating impeccable drill sequences, march past, and various advanced formations. Each contingent was judged on their synchronization, bearing, command delivery and overall performance.

Addressing the cadets, Group Captain Vijay Singh Dangwal commended their hard work and emphasized the importance of drills in fostering discipline and esprit de corps.

The event concluded with Kumaon House and Luv House being adjudged the winners in Senior Group and Junior Group respectively followed by the prize distribution and a spirited applause for all participants. The competition underscored the school’s commitment to grooming future leaders with a blend of academics, discipline and physical fitness.
